Every piece of furniture is different, so we charge for the time taken to build each item. Even two different jobs building the same wardrobe can be different, so this is the fairest way to work. Our price is clearly stated on our website and the price you see is the price you pay. The only extra charges would be if we incur any parking costs or have to travel more than half an hour each way to your location.
Please provide us with details of any parking restrictions that we will need to be aware of when visiting your property. Any parking fees or congestion/ULEZ charges incurred will be added to the final cost of your assembly.
We usually work within Havering, Thurrock and Essex but will consider jobs in any location. One hour travel time (30 minutes to/from jobs) is included and any travel time over that will be chargeable at the same rate as assembly.
We understand that you want your new item of furniture assembled and ready to use as quickly as possible. We will do our best to complete your job at a time of your choosing and can often book you in within 2-3 days of your enquiry. We can sometimes even offer same or next day assembly.
Most flat packed items require a reasonable amount of space for assembly. Please ensure an adequate area is available. Time taken to clear an appropriate area, to move boxes to the assembly area, or to unpack boxes will be chargeable
Double check the dimensions of your item to ensure that it will fit in the space you wish to put it! Please be aware that some taller wardrobes must be assembled standing up, depending on your ceiling height. If this is the case, two people may be required.
Many furniture items include wall fixings to secure the item to a wall to prevent accidents. It is the customers responsibility to ensure a suitable fixing point is available. If wall fixing is not required, MC Services accepts no responsibility for accidents or injuries as a result of unsecured furniture.
We are also able to offer a disassembly service, taking apart your existing furniture before assembling your new items. Please ask us for a quote to remove any unwanted furniture.
To arrange the assembly of your furniture, just fill out our enquiry form, call or email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible to book you in for a time that is suitable for you.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the assembly. Payment options include bank transfer, cash or PayPal.
Removal of cardboard and plastic packaging is not included with assembly. Please ask us for a quote to remove and recycle packaging.
It is very rare for flat pack furniture to arrive with parts or fixings missing or damaged. We do carry a stock of common parts and fixings but cannot guarantee to be able to replace missing parts or fixings on the day. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that every component is available at the time of assembly. Any assembly that cannot be completed due to missing components or damaged parts will still be eligible for a charge at the normal rates.
